Mainstore Monday – HPMD

HPMD is a long established Home and Garden landscaping store in Second Life. It’s one of my favourites and I am sure a staple of many a landscaper too. When I made the Top 10 Landscaping items video I believe there were two, possibly three items in there, just from HPMD.

So if you visit today, will find the sim still winter ready, but it’s just as beautiful as it always is. You arrive in a small Gazebo, and to your left and right are displays of their most recent new items, which are currently a caves system, and some winter wood decor trees. The trees are super cute with baubles on them so feel a little Christmassy but are gorgeous nonetheless.

As you walk either way you walk down to the main entrance and to your left there is some signposting, literally signposting. From here, you can join the group, you can get redelivery. You can purchase a gift card. You can link to their Flickr, their Twitter, and also to their second life marketplace.

If you continue right, you’ll enter into a large tree hollow and in here you’ll find  a number of fantastic releases displayed including flying whale  which you might have seen around.

Just to the right as you walk in you will find a selection of group gifts. The HPMD group is free to join and as soon as you do you can pick up all these wonderful items.

There are some little beautiful bird feeders, some snowmen. There’s some EEP sky and water, windlights and floral text wreaths to name a few. These are just some of the beautiful items. So check those out.

The rest of your visit is a journey through the beautiful landscaping creations for shrubs, trees, flowers, grass and decor and animals. The HPMD Bunnies are absolutely adorable, as are their birds and very versatile to use as static or flying birds. There’s also a super cute tree house, but not in the way that you think. It’s a tree house on the floor made from inside the bark of a tree. It’s got a wintery version and a regular version I bought that. You will also find their Cliff Hills, which I’m sure you would recognize the minute you saw them alongside beautiful flowering shrubs and wild grasses.

HPMD even have some older sculpty items out, I own the rocks in the forest, which can be really useful for covering a big space, but low prim, because it’s not mesh. When you increase the size of it, you don’t increase the land impact.

If you have an interest in creating beautiful landscapes, beautiful scenes, or just, you know, some beautiful, gorgeous, detailed items for your own little plot at home. HPMD has always been a magical place to come and visit and check out and I would suggest you do so at any time.
