A Roadtrip Through the Mind

What a crazy journey that would be full of twists and turns!!! Would I ever reach the destination?

When it comes to my mind it might be a bit of a mystery tour at present. Somedays you wake up knowing exactly where the journey is taking you and sometimes a few detours really knock the itinerary out of sorts and you don’t feel like you’ve actually gotten very far at all.

We all pick up a few hitch-hikers along the way. Some of them add value to the tour and become permanent and constants companions on your road trip. Some of them just want a free-ride and to tag along for a while and that’s fine too. Recognising the ones you should have left by the roadside to join someone else’s roadtrip is the challenge.

When you use a navigation device to work out a journey in real life it automatically reassesses your journey if you take a wrong turn or two. It gets you back on track eventually. You don’t dwell too much on the detour but instead focus on being back on the right road to where you want to go. THAT’S the bit that I need to become better at this year…not letting lifes minor diversions impact my enjoyment of the journey.
