Wise, wise words from the creators of BackBone at Lost & Found this round. As many of my readers and friends know I made a massive decision to close the club I had owned in Second Life for almost 6 years. The core reason…I just didn’t love it anymore. I loved the people, the team, the visitors but I didn’t love managing a club anymore. !Exodus! was my long term relationship in SL and we broke up. There were other reasons…the interference of others in our relationship but mainly we just drifted apart and fell out of love. Like any relationship break up sometimes I miss !Exodus! I get that 2am urge to call it but I never regret not making that call the next day. Somedays I want to go back to it and then I remember why we broke up in the first place and nothing has changed…in fact it’s probably worse now than it was then.
The good news is that I filled that space with several other relationships…MadPea, Blogging, Projects and Event Planning…yeah, I became a work relationship floozy with lots of relationships taking !Exodus!’ place. I can’t imagine ever settling down with just one now when I have so much choice but I love them all the same. I do what I love and I love what I do.
