I woke up with earworms! You know…when you wake up with a song in your head. Well, this morning it’s two songs. In fact I was so convinced that I had literally heard one of them, perhaps on the radio as I snoozed the alarm for 5 minutes and it was subconsciously engrained, that I immediately checked the recently played list of the radio station in my bedroom. Both earworms are songs I’ve played recently during my dj sets. One of them was last Friday though and it’s my ‘Monday’ today and first day back at work maybe I’m just wanting to teleport back in time to Friday again?
The songs were Trash by Suede with the chorus featuring as the main part of the repeating lyrics in my head:

The other is the Carolina Chocolate Drops cover of Hit Em Up Style.
As I get ready to head to work I’m just grateful that at least they’re two pretty damn good tunes stuck in my head…I mean…it would be worse….I’ve been known to play Mmm Bop by Hanson too and I would hate to have that stuck in my head all day!
