Bring It On

Have you noticed how people who say ‘I don’t do drama’, especially on their profiles in Second Life are always the people that live and breathe for it. Now we all have a bit of drama come our way from time to time and most people will try and minimise the impact, keep their head down, ride it out and move on…like, oh I dunno, grown ups! Most of us don’t revel in it when we’re close to it that’s for sure.

Several years ago I had the misfortune of standing up to an online bully. The proverbial sad little man in real life who considered himself a keyboard warrior and managed to convince a band of sheep to follow him under the guise of a Second Life Motorcycle Club. They spent weeks and months trying to ruin my business and get a reaction that they wanted from me. They failed on both counts. I didn’t go looking for that fight but I didn’t back down from it either. My SL has gone from strength to strength while they fell apart and drifted off.

I believed in myself and that I was doing the right thing and I will always stand up for that against anyone that wants to try and bully or manipulate me into taking actions or making decisions that I don’t believe in.

About the Stuff:
