Busy, busy, busy and it’s just how I like it. I have to admit to being somewhat of a sourpuss over the last week or so. Many of us have periods in our lives where we feel at a low ebb and often we know what has triggered it. Sometimes it comes out of the blue with no explanation, rhyme or reason and that’s pretty much how I’ve been all week. I don’t know how many times I’ve responded to friends with ‘I’m ok’ or ‘I’m fine’ when I’m not at all but I’ve never been one to ask for help or even let on that I’m not my usual self. There’s also an unwillingness in myself to burden my friends, who have their own issues and problems, with mine…especially when I couldn’t explain why I have felt this way even if I tried. So it’s easier to just say ‘I’m good’ and carry on with my day and pretending to be the outgoing, gregarious person people expect. But I think most of us are used to putting on an act as a form of emotional protection sometimes. This is when I am thankful for the things that keep me busy and my mind distracted while in SL and for those friends that continue to check in on me when my head is down.
About the Stuff:
The releases are coming thick and fast from United Colors at the moment which makes me a very happy Kess…the biggest problem is which one to show first! Todays is from ULTRA event and when I first put my first thought was ‘well damn now I gotta find knickers in my inventory…or maybe not!’.
