I used to play WoW…well I still do occasionally and I am totally a sucker for achievements. I still have never quite managed to win the Stranglethorn Bay fishing contest so I haven’t yet added the ‘Salty’ title to my list of WoW achievements but I’m pretty sure one day I will. Currently I’m slowly…very slowly, working on my Loremaster achievement. There are several fishing achievements that require you to fish up some rare fish all around Azerorth.
I was talking with a friend over the weekend about guys in Second Life (and yes I am well aware that women can be just as bad as men but it happens we were talking about guys). The phrase ‘there’s plenty more fish in the sea’ was used. I detest that phrase, so I inwardly cringed and just carried on with the conversation. The sarcastic response is, of course, well I don’t want a bloody fish but I understand the sentiment behind it. That in a vast body of water there are thousands upon thousands of fish…average fish. Every day fish! Little fish…big fish? See, I’m still not sold on needing a fish!!! Fish all day the same thing, swimming around in groups of other fish and really not doing very much on a day to day basis. Occasionally you come across a really very unique or unusual fish and those are the ones that are worth scooping out of the water. Be aware though that once you’ve taken that step they might behave like…well, a fish out of water.
Anyways, enough of my ramblings for today let’s look at the stuffs!!!
About the Stuff:
FaMESHed opened a couple of days ago and it was super exciting seeing RealEvil Industries taking part in the event for the first time. RE have released new Rings and Nails for Vista and Maitreya hands. For Maitreya hands you will need to make sure you wear the object that makes your nails disappear but for Vista hand users you can turn off the Vista nails in Prohands hud before attached the RE nails and rings. The hud included comes with a lot of options to customise with 10 metals textures, 10 gem textures and 20 different nail colours which all look absolutely stunning!
Opening today is The Crossroads event and Dead Dollz have a release of stockings. There are 4 different styles from a classic, sexy french seamed stocking to tastefully embellished lace stocking tops and heels that look stunning. They are fit for Maitreya only and come with a colour change hud to match the regular Dead Dollz colour palette. I’ve been looking for stockings like this that can be worn with any number of different dresses and outfits for a long time so I’m excited to see this release.
