As soon as the clock turned midnight on the 1st October the season of spook and horror came alive in Second Life. Several events opened, and while I’m really looking forward to the special pop up round of The Arcade, Salem is definitely the place to go for all things ghoulish!
As soon as I saw Milk Motion’s The Cistern at Uber last week I had in my mind how perfect it would be for some kind of Phantom of the Opera themed photo and I remembered the amazing Phantom themed set that Jake Vordun of Fancy Decor made a couple of years ago for The Arcade.
There were so many items from Salem that would have fit in this scene too and I could have added more but didn’t want to overload the photo so hopefully you like the photo and think the balance is right.
I took the photo on Black Dragon and the Cistern and several other items are materials enabled and that means that what the light in the scene behaves in a different way on advanced lighting to give that blue glow. For the sake of clarity the Violetility Coffin Chaise is in fact black on normal lighting…it’s also super comfy and we sat on it most of the time while I was putting this scene together! All the details and slurls are in the credits below! Happy Spooky Shopping!
