Festive Foodies

Well Christmas in real life is turning into a whole cycle of emotions over on this side of the pond. For weeks we have been told that there would be a five day relaxation of the ‘tier’ rules over the Christmas period. I personally thought five days was a bit excessive and Christmas Day and Boxing Day would suffice. Anyways, that all changed on Saturday when the government announced that you could only mix with two other ‘households’ on Christmas Day. This threw my whole Christmas into disarray as my kids were seeing their in laws on Christmas Day and were going to be spending Boxing Day morning with me. We were all distraught at the thought that we wouldn’t be able to see each other at all over Christmas. Eventually, after some switching around of plans we have decided to see each other Christmas morning for breakfast instead.

The relief period lasted a few hours and since then the closure of ports etc has put everyone in the country on edge. Supermarkets are starting to warn about the possibility of shortages of food. At least there will be shortage of food in Second Life!

I absolutely adore this collaboration set at The Arcade from Kraftwork and Fancy Decor. It’s perfect for the season but not so super Christmassy that you couldn’t use many parts of it at other times of the year too.

I went over to Lelutka to pick up teh Christmas gift of the 2020 tree. It actually comes with the previous years trees too which was a surprise. The one pictures below is the 2020 one though and it’s just glorious.
