I really haven’t been much in the Christmas spirit this year but maybe it’s going to hit me like a train when I finish work tomorrow? Christmas Day is usually all hands on deck with me catering for all the family but this year it’s going to be a much quieter affair on the day itself. Boxing Day will be chaos but Christmas Day will be the quiet before the storm.
I’ve been decorating my new, small, but dare I say, perfectly formed, home over the last week and sharing some of my thoughts on the decoration process with the owner of Enaitch, Natacha. During our discussions she told me about the 12 Days of Christmas advent she has been running at her store and some of the items included. She’s really gone above and beyond with the quality of the gifts on offer and I am only showing a few of them in this photo. You might be thinking “well great! Thanks Kess! tell us about an advent on almost the last day!!!” But fear not, you can still pick up these items for a moderate purchase price which is still very good value.
I matched up the items with this gorgeous new musical set from Nutmeg at Kustom9 and the newest SeraPlus gift for December, also from Nutmeg. One of the first items I ever blogged “back in the day” for Nutmeg was a grand piano (which is still one of my favourite items) but this new upright piano, fully PBR, is outstanding! I’ve really missed decorating and blogging and I know you have heard this before but I really do hope to be more active in the blogging scene in the coming year!
