Blooming Under the Spring Petals

It feels like it was ages since Velvet Bohème opened when in reality it’s been a few days. Which in itself is a good thing because I have lots I still want to show.

I adore all the designers taking part in the event but there were a few new ones this round that really made my heart happy and one of those was Stories & Co. The brand was previously known as Flowey back in the day and I remember how every Collabor88 I used to be so excited to see what newness Flo was bringing. I had that same excitement when I saw a WIP of the pants I am wearing that she brought to Velvet Bohème. This girl really REALLY got the boho brief and I love her for it!

Last night Altitude, one of our music venue partners grabbed the stage with LIT BOHEME a live voice literary hour where people brought stories, articles, poems and readings on the theme of Bohemia and Bohemians. It was fascinating and educational as well as a lot of fun. Let’s just say I will never look at a helium filled balloon in quite the same way thanks to Moby.

I myself will be taking the stage on Sunday, representing Sanctum where I do a chill Sunday indie session once a month. I have been working on the playlist for a while and have a bit of a curveball to work in…I am being blackmailed, by an absolute terror of a person, to play Sail by Awolnation.
