R E S P E C T – Find Out What It Means to Me

Snapshot_007

I can respect almost anyone. Sometimes it’s because of their beliefs. Sometimes because of their talent and skills. Sometimes because of their character and personality. I don’t have to like someone to respect them and I also don’t have to always agree with them either. But, let’s face it, it helps if I do.

I’m fortunate enough to work with some amazingingly talented people in different aspects of my SL. At MadPea the creators, designers, scripters, 2D artists always amaze me with their skills.

In my blogging role I am so grateful to the people that support me and by that I mean the creators who I blog for, everyone who follows and reads my blog and my friends who help me by sharing my posts with their friends. I am grateful to the other bloggers and artists who inspire me in what I do too. I get such a buzz when one of those artists/stylists/decorators I respect likes or favourites one of my pics.

Then there are my personal ‘stars’ of SL. Draxtor Despres for example who works tirelessly to help people in and out of SL that Second Life is more than just a virtual reality pornhub. (That really is over simplifying what Drax does but you can find out more at The Drax Files )

Brique Zeiner of Live and Learn in Kenya whose Feed a Smile programme is well known and supported and is making a real life difference to children every single day because of the activities and support of Second Life Residents.

Saffia Widdershins the human dynamo who is involved with numerous charity and non profit organisations in Second Life including One Billion Rising and Relay for Life as well as her SL TV videos for Designing Worlds.

My list could go on and on and would include Inara Pey, Canary Beck, Ziki Questi, Caitlin Tobias, Jessica Lyon, Kiana Writer, Torley Linden…all people that have made an impact on my Second Life.

There are many, many more extraordinary people doing good things in SL every day…some publicly, some unsung and privately and I have the utmost respect for them all.
