When I first started blogging I had a lot of support from my friends some of whom were bloggers themselves and I was inspired by so many of the blogs out there already. I enjoy all sorts of different blogs. Some like mine that have text and pictures, some that are picture based, some that specifically focussed on one specific niche such as decor, or mesh bodies, or hair, or poses etc. There’s a wealth of great blogs out there and the vast majority of bloggers that I have come across are extremely supportive of each other and more than willing to share helpful tools, tips and advice.
I’m going to be spending some time updating and adding new blogs to my blogroll, listed at the bottom of my blog, which lists the blogs I follow and I thought I would choose a couple every week or so to focus on and share with you. The two I’ve chosen this week are very different. The first is a relatively new blog from two ladies who I see actively supporting each other as well as other bloggers and photographers on Flickr etc.
Their blog is called Do It Yourself and has two contributors, Jules and Exis. I’ve really enjoyed watching their photographic and blogging style develop over the last few months. I see them striving to improve by adapting and making changes to their blog and they have a similar style to me in that their blogs are always accompanied by text on a subject…often quite random ones but that makes it all the more interesting as you never know what’s coming next! You can read more about the ladies and the reason they love to blog here.
The second blog I’ve added to my blogroll is Wendz Tempest’s CozeySL. Wendz is both an extraordinarily exceptional stylist but also a stunning photographer and her decor scenes and photographs are the envy of just about every decor blogger I know. The reason I particularly wanted to mention her blog today is that she’s going to be doing a talk about setting up scenes and reaching your blogger goals for The Blogger Hub group on Friday at noon slt. If you’re interested in attending there is a sign up sheet here. If you are interested in blogging decor I highly recommend this as a great opportunity to hear from one of the best and most respected stylists on the grid. You can find out more about her on her blog.
About the Stuff
So on to my picture for today. I’m wearing the new releases from COCO at the September round of FaMESHed. The leather jacket comes in an option with the top fitted and without and is available in both Slink Physique and Hourglass as well Maitreya Lara (worn) and comes in black, burgundy and brown colours. The ripped style jeans come in Black, light black, 3 blue jeans and a white and in the same body fits. If you want the tank top separately that can be purchased in a four colour pack at the event too. Demos are available for all of these so give them a try out first.
The hair is the super cute and messy look new release from Elikatira, again available at FaMESHed. It comes in all the usual [e] colour packs and huds and has a great texture change hud with plain and pattern textures for the hair band.
