Mainstoresl.com A new shopping resource for SL Residents

I’ve just launched a new website called mainstoresl.com and wanted to take a few minutes to let you know about it in more detail.

When I first started blogging I wrote a regular feature called Mainstore Monday, where I visited a main store and wrote a blog post about it. Now, I love shopping events…I’m one of the first trying to tp to all of them on opening day to get items I’ve seen on Seraphim or Flickr that I want. I also enjoying visiting main stores and used to love shopping districts that included lots of different stores, where I would often find new to me stores that became firm favourites.

With a limit on the number of groups you can be in plus the amount of time it takes to follow every group on Facebook or Flickr it’s really hard to keep up with what’s going on at your favourite mainstores across SL. I literally had a lightbulb moment in the shower a couple of months ago regarding a solution to this.

What if there was one website I could follow that would keep me up to date on mainstore releases, group gifts, sales…anything that happened at my favourite mainstores?

Well, now there is!

I’ve made a short video about the website which you can see below:

mainstoresl.com aims to be a one-stop resource for all things SL mainstore related and as well as the website you can keep up to date via the Facebook Page and Twitter.

If you’re a store owner and would like your items to be featured on mainstoresl.com there is an FAQ section on the blog which explains what you need to do!

I hope both consumers and store owners find this a really useful resource. Please join us on our social media channels and share with your friends so we can all experience the joy of shopping at mainstores more frequently in the future.

  1. What a great idea!
I was never a mall shopper in the past, but I’m finding less and less to my taste at the shopping events, so maybe this boost for main stores will bring about some fashion diversity. Here’s hoping!

Best of luck with this new venture Kess. x
