Facebook reminded me this morning, as if I needed reminding, that it was a year today since Zedekiah and I became friends on Facebook. I’d had cause to look this information up during a conversation we were having a couple of weeks ago so I knew the date. It was an easy date to remember…today would have been my mums 70th birthday too. So, today is a mixed up day of emotions. My mum is very much in my thoughts and I’m sure had she still been with us there would be have been big celebrations today. She loved life which just added to the tragedy of her losing her battle with cancer at the age of 43.
One thing I know is she would have wanted me to be happy above all else and so the ‘friendversary’ with Zedekiah is poignant. He’s bought a lot of happiness into my life. Facebook did that thing where they made a little video for us to celebrate and if we’re friends on Facebook you can see that the words that I wrote to accompany it. I’m sure Mum would approve (though maybe not of the photo).
