Turn of the Season

Home. Since my earliest days in Second Life I’ve always had one. I remember the excitement of having my first tiny rented apartment. I didn’t even know I could have a place and put my own furniture in it. It was 2006 and I was still learning.

In the time since I’ve had small houses, big houses, prim houses, mesh houses, castles, bungalows, skyboxes, lofts, cottages, family homes, girlie homes, rented apartments, rented land, mainland and sims.  I’ve tried it all. My favourite?  Whichever I’m currently living in of course.

I started to get excited about Christmas this week while looking around winter sims with Zedekiah. This weekend, after Thanksgiving, I’m going to start decorating our home ready for Christmas. It’s been a long time since I’ve looked forward to a Christmas in Second Life but this year is going to be very different and much happier for both of us.
