The Corner of the Kitchen Where I Made My Home

Not gonna lie, this last week has been hard but at least it’s over. I hate that feeling of not being on top of everything you have going on and completely in control…yes, when it comes to work, blogging, hobbies etc I am a bit of a control freak. The week at least went quickly which was about the only plus as each day there was something to do and work on . But I am now a little ahead of myself…I have several photos taken, edited and credits listed ready to post! Time for some well deserved chill time…at least for a couple of days or until I get itchy decorating feet.

I adore this new release from Nutmeg, available now at Shiny Shabby. I literally screamed…no joke, ask the person I was talking to at the time, when my application to blog for Nutmeg was successful. I saw someone post the other day about blogger goals and two of mine, as I transitioned the blog to be minimum 80% decor, were Nutmeg and Loft & Aria and they both accepted me in the same week. To say I was ecstatic was an understatement! Anyhoo, the detail in this pack is crazy good. The feature item is of course the stove which is available in four colours and a drawer set that comes plain or with fixed decoration. The detailing on the chairs is divine with the engraving and decoration on the legs really standing out so well. Opening the full pack of this set felt akin to the scene in Mary Poppins where is looking for something in her bag and just keeps pulling out more and more items! There are jugs, casserole dishes, kettles, mugs, utensils, menu books, frying pans…the clutter included in this pack seems almost limitless.  Check for yourself at the June round of Shiny Shabby.
