Happy Monday everyone! I’ll be honest I’m usually full of gusto on a Monday morning for the week ahead but I’m struggling this morning. As my Mum would have said ‘my get up and go has got up and gone’. Maybe it’s a hangover from a weekend that didn’t quite go to plan. That said there were many highlights but it’s human nature to focus on the one or two small negatives, no matter how small. I know I can be guilty of that sometimes and need to get better at it.
If you are a lover of all things home and garden then one of the highlights of the year is about to open as 6 Republic, the bi-annual home and garden event opens on the 6th November. I was shocked to realise it has been 6 months since the last round and I know that I am still using a lot of the items I collected in May…and in fact all previous rounds of this, one of my absolute favourite events.
I have several photos already set up and ready to share with you and this is the first featuring Ariskea and Granola at 6 Republic. Ariskea have produced this gorgeous vintage style greenhouse with a side sloping ceiling and of course tons of window space. Works great as a stand alone building or as an ‘lean-to’ attached to another building. The bathroom set is from Granola and is that perfect shabby vintage look that is really popular and appealing in Second Life and worked really well with the new Nutmeg release at their mainstore.
