Good morning and happy weekend! 2 weeks today until my vacation and I got a chance to do a collab post with the amazing and talented EXIS before she jetted off for her break!
EXIS has written on her post about how most of our time when we do collabs is spent catching up, talking, laughing, giving our views and opinions on the state of the blogging and photography world. We talked a lot this time around about the difference between inspiration and copying. I feel like I know a lot about this subject because as I have developed my blogging style there have been many people I have been inspired by. EXIS being one of them.
When I first started blogging the inspiration for how I blogged came from Meri. Photographically EXIS, Anuska, Geena, Annan, Lotus, Shocking and Nimoe are just a few of the people whose work I pored over for technique, inspiration, and to learn. I added to those techniques I learned watching photoshop tutorials, learning from trial and error with PS and advice from other photographers.
In the last month or so I have started to add my name to my photos because I finally felt I had an identifiable look and feel to my photographs, and, consistency in the quality that I could put my name to.
