Oh boy! This was so hard this year with so many beautifully created images.
There were a few factors to consider when choosing the winner. I’ve never considered myself an expert on the technical aspects of photography. I just know what I like and what I don’t like. I also had to consider how the photo would work as a Cover for the blog posts with a text overlay etc.
I’m delighted and excited to announce the winner of the Face of Calendar Girls 2021 Photo contest is…………

Hara’s photo/cover will be used from 1st January 2021 in all Calendar Girls posts on the blog and she also wins L$10,000 cash.
I’d like to give some notable mentions too, because it really did boil down to just a few pictures that could have all worked for the cover.
Hayz Heavenly – I know how hard Hayz has worked on honing her skills as a photographer and here side by side photos from last years entry to this show exactly how much she has improved. I could really see this photo working as cover.
Sheila Breen – Sheila is another photographer who’s work I’ve seen grow and develop over the couple of years she has been adding them to the Calendar Girls group. This one is stunning.
Congratulations to Hara and thank you again to all those that took the time to take photographs and enter the competition. I look forward to seeing all of your photos added to the group in the coming 12 months. Happy New Year!
