I’m writing this while nervously waiting to see if a Government press conference is called for later today regarding a toughening of Coronavirus rules in the England. I have been looking forward to the first Christmas with my grandson and I’ll be extremely miffed if that is now in jeopardy as I have the whole day planned like a military exercise from morning to night!
I’m more concerned for others though. My grandchild is close at hand and no matter what I will see him Christmas day…even if it’s outside and 6ft apart. People very close to me might not be so lucky and my heart is heavy with concern for the situation they might find themselves in.
I’m not sure wishing on a star is going to help but I am definitely willing to give it a go!
