I wanted to create the perfect spot for imagining a quiet couple of quality time hours with Mr Smith before I jet off to Italy. It’s been a busy, hectic and unhealthy few months for the both of us. We’ve had time away from SL, I’ve had covid, but we always find a way to connect and we both prioritise each other by carving out time to talk, spend time just being in the same place and same headspace. Sometimes, random ghosts from the past make you question things. I am going away on vacation tomorrow for the first time since 2019 and every now and again I get a millisecond of panic about whether he will still be here when I get back. It’s the craziest thought ever because he’s so open and honest about who he is in both lives but mostly because I know he would never be a ghost to me.
