I think you might have to be a Brit to get the joke I told Mr Smith while we were taking this photo:

My grandparents were called Pearl & Dean or as we called them Grandma and Grandpapa papa papapa papapa

Pearl & Dean, in the UK, is the company that provides the advertising on screen in the cinema and have done since I was a kid going to ‘Saturday Morning Minors’ at the local ABC Cinema. It was super exciting because when you saw this intro you knew your film would be starting soon. To Brits, it’s an iconic theme and memory.

The photo is of course inspired by the amazing new movie skybox from Bad Unicorn at Kustom9. This is a really good size skybox for 75 land impact and packed with animations. There are rows of back seats and two large ‘bed’ type seats at the front. There are even animated stars on the ceiling. I can’t even tell you the joy I had of finding the twerks! So much so that I had to IM Bhad, the creator behind the brand, and OMG I FOUND THE TWERKS to him.
