I took this photo yesterday and by the time I come to write it the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore have grown in resonance since taking it. The tide comes and goes, just as people come and go. Fortunately I have a very small group of confidantes, all of which I have known for 5+ years in Second Life and some of which I have met in real life. The whole “find your tribe” memes are so true. You gotta find your people and protect that circle of peace and safety. It really does help you to focus on who deserves a space in your life and who does not.
