The Barkmobile is, in my opinion, the stand-out, star of the show at this month’s round of Kustom9. Sometimes, you just take one look at an item and the first sparks of inspiration for a photo start to form in your mind. The Truth Odyssey hair was a no-brainer for the image too. It all started to come together in my mind before I’d even left the booth at Kustom9!
I took the photo at Burrow. If you have yet to visit the latest version of the region you really should. Harlow has done an incredible job with the region and there are numerous photogenic spots and venues. Talking of which, I’ll be dj’g tomorrow at noon at the Hex & Haze venue at Burrow. I dj there twice a month with a 90s and 00’s alt rock and indie set, along with my sis Sady who hosts.
I think there’s a very strong chance I’ll play some Mazzy Star, probably even this song. It’s always been a favourite of mine with it’s complex themes of desire, emotional distance and longing.
