As a Londoner myself I have always loved the sound of Jamie T, and particularly this song. It’s extremely evocative and the video I have linked, featuring the late, great, Bob Hoskins is powerful. I was just mentioning the other day, while dj’g, that I like when local dialects can be picked up in songs. I love bands like Biffy Clyro, or singers like Paolo Nutini, where you can hear their Scottish accent when singing. It’s exactly the same with Jamie T and other bands like Missing Andy where you can hear the Londoner in every syllabyl.
I wear Glam Affair all the time, but today I am specifically blogging the latest skin, Henea, which is available now at Lewd Station. As well as the skin there are two add on packs available. One is BOM layer water droplets and the one I am wearing is called After Party and contains a streaked eye make up layer and 5 different options for the smeared lipstick.
