Go Wild in the Country

The weekend is just flying by and I’m loving every single second of it so far. I have a friend from Second Life visiting this weekend. I’ve known Shep in SL since 2007 and had the pleasure of meeting him in London a couple of years ago. We walked all around London and took a trip on the London eye. It was a fun-packed day but it was just one day.

Now he’s back in the UK and we have managed to spend a good few days together. Dinner Friday night then a long day on Saturday visiting Stonehenge and Winchester Cathedral, touring the Christmas market and the quite quirky experience of a full English Afternoon Tea in a French Cafe was topped off with Chinese takeaway and some SL time with friends.

We have shopping and lunch planned for today before he goes to Heathrow for the flight back to New York. He’s been away from home for a month now and I can’t imagine how much I’d want my own house, my own bed and my own creature comforts around me after that long away. While I will be so sad to say goodbye to him today I’m happy that he will be returning home and get some of those home comforts in a few short hours.

Boy do I have some blogging to catch up on though so you’ll be seeing quite a few posts from me over the next couple of days. Hopefully that fact that you’re reading this will mean you totally don’t mind a bit of extra doses of Glamour Sauce though.

Today’s outfit is inspired by the gorgeously detailed Fringed Out Cardigan from Ascend which is available right now at Shiny Shabby. It comes in 5 different colour arrangements and in 5 mesh sizes which worked perfectly with my Maitreya Mesh Body. Perfect for my Sunday in the country with my friend Shep.
