I gave myself a mini-makeover this week and after several months changed my skin and appliers. It’s not a massive change, in my mind, but I’ve been wanting to find an applier for my Catwa head from The Skinnery that I felt worked for me for some time. I’ve worn light freckles for some time and always loved the freckles on my pre-mesh-head and body skin that i wore from The Skinnery so I was delighted to find Estee at their mainstore. It was the change I needed without giving me a totally different look that no longer felt like me.
It’s been a very busy weekend for me so far and I hadn’t actually planned for that at all but a couple of amazing opportunities and fun things to do have dropped into my lap over the last 24 hours. Yesterday was Draxtor Despres’ 9th Rez Day. Drax is not only a friend but has been a huge supporter of MadPea over the last 8 years and Kiana, the founder of MadPea, and I jumped at the chance of organising an impromptu Rez Day party for him at MadPea. The 2 hour party turned into 4 hours with live music, fun, prizes, gifts and most importantly Drax having an awesome time with many of the people that care about him and respect his work to make Second Life great.
Today at 2pm slt I will be co-hosting the Prim Perfect talk at Home & Garden Expo. The subject of the discussion has been requested by the designers taking part in the Expo and It’s the Importance of Blogging. Many of the designers at Home and Garden don’t use bloggers or blogging groups normally and are interested in how to take their stores and creations to the next level in terms of publicity and how bloggers can help with that journey. We’ll be discussing what to look for in a blogger, what bloggers need from you as a designer and what you should expect from bloggers in terms of support. The discussion is very much audience input so if you are a blogger or designer and would like to attend please visit us at 2pm slt at the Home and Garden Expo Auditorium
