Many of you know I love good challenge and do several of the ones that Strawberry Singh sets for fellow bloggers on her blog. Berry shared a challenge yesterday from another blogger, Cajsa Lilliehook. Firstly let’s look at why Cajsa has invented this wonderful challenge.
The creator of Clawtooth is the super talented Bubbles Clawtooth. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Bubbles but it seems they are dealing with some extreme challenges in their real life at present. Bubbles mother has ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and Bubbles is the main caregiver for his Mum. Any of us who have had to care for a parent or close relative in the latter stages of any disease know the stress and anxiety involved. Those of us that haven’t can imagine it. Cajsa wrote this on her blogpost:
Ram Dass, a pop spirituality writer, once said, “We are all just walking each other home.” It is a quote that has stayed with me since the day I first heard it.
Bubbles Clawtooth is walking his mother home. Bubbles’ mama has ALS, a neurodegenerative disease created to break hearts and spirits, but Bubs is too strong, too busy, and too needed to fall apart except perhaps for moments of silent screaming while driving to the pharmacy or grocery store. Because he is her child and her caretaker, he wrote that he feels like “the primary joy in her world which is both a treasure and a large cross to bear. Being strong when your heart feels like it’s shattering along with there being 24-hour needs and very little time for autonomy is by far the most difficult thing Bubs has ever had to face (and Bubs has faces some things darlings). It’s a living nightmare in one moment and a dear treasure the next.” Bubbles finds the strength in his love and joy in his service, but that does not make this walk easy.

In short the challenge is to make a post with 3 different Clawtooth hair styles to encourage people to stop by the Clawtooth by Clawtooth store or check in on marketplace as a show of support for Bubbles at this most difficult of times.
I stopped in at Calas Galadhon sims earlier today to take the feature picture for the post. I had recently posted about looking for places to take photographs for posts and my friend Kerena very kindly jogged my memory about the Calas Galadhon sims. My memory really shouldn’t have needed jogging to be honest, as Ty and Truck who created these beautiful sims are long term friends of mine also. I’d just about gotten over my guilt when I bumped into Ty and Truck at Cosmo and promised them I would come visit soon! So I did!
