I’m healthy (ish), happy and I have the love and support of a lot of good people in both my real life and my Second Life. I really enjoy meeting new people in SL too and after all it’s a social platform so why not get out there and meet more people? Sometimes time is a limiting factor but even with an SL that is packed to the rafters I have still managed to make some new friends that have enhanced my life each in their own ways. This weekend I’ve spent time with quite a few friends. Some that I haven’t seen for a long while, some of them the new ones I have made recently and some who are the absolute foundation of my SL…my girls.
I also got my geek on a bit over the weekend and played some World of Warcraft with Tackett….in fact I spent more time with my bestie this weekend than I have in a long time. On Friday he had some bad news and we hung out and talked and just watched some tv quietly and when I when to bed he thanked me. I thought about that a bit as I drifted off to sleep. There was no need for him to thank me…I love him, he’s my best friend. Of course I’m going to be there when he needs me as I know he would be for me…hell, he HAS been for me so many times in the past. I was reminded of that conversation last night when one of my closest friends was explaining that she felt bad that she couldn’t tip me at a dj gig. I love her, she’s also my best friend, just her being there is enough and all the thanks I needed. My friends, the ones I describe as the foundation….my girls…they know who they are, are the most supportive friends anyone could wish for. The only downside of being as busy as I am in SL is that I don’t get enough opportunity to repay that support in my opinion. I hope my love and admiration for them makes up for it in some small way.
About The Stuff:
I’m hoping I get enough time in my schedule to show you a lot more of the items from this round of Tres Chic and today it’s the dress from The Annex. The dress comes in 5 colour choices and in both Slink sizes and Maitreya fit. It’s a cute little summer dress with the emphasis on little! It’s very short so make sure you have panties on ladies when you venture out. It looks like a two piece but is in fact one dress and I love the ruffled waist detailing and the lacy hemline. I matched it up with the Tram hair that I bought at Hair Fair 2016 in the light browns for a personally perfect summery casual look.
