My photograph today isn’t actually my photograph at all. My friend, fellow blogger, and outstanding photographer, Tempest Rosca, and I were talking a few days ago about doing a joint blog post and I suggested trying something a little different. I would take photographs of her for her to post on her blog and she would take photographs of me for my post. We both wanted to blog the Lilith dress from United Colors so we decided on ‘styling’ different looks with the same dress (yes I said styling *grumbles*). Now this was a challenge for me in a number of ways and after she agreed to the idea I did start to wonder if I had lost my mind! Firstly, Tempest does this for a living…she’s a total pro. As Fashion Editor for Eclipse Magazine she is responsible for the looks the professional models put together before being photographed…so like…no pressure there…riiight! Then to top that off she’s a pro photographer too as owner of Tempest Rosca Photography she is commissioned by people across SL to produce amazing photography AND she also takes much of the photography for Eclipse and Spotlight Magazines. Anyways, it was too late to back out and plus I got this amazing picture taken by Tempest \o/ and I’ll update this post with a link to my photographs on Temps blog later today.
About the Stuff:
One of the many things I love about blogging for United Colors is the constant surprises. Just when you think UC has come up with the most unique and different look for an outfit or dress then they surprise you with another. It is literally one of the most exciting feelings as a blogger to open a package and be wowed over and over again. Honestly, as a blogger you couldn’t ask for more. Ok enough slushing over UC let me tell you more about the dress itself…it’s United Colour’s new release, called Lilith, at Tres Chic and comes in fits for Belleza Freya and Isis, Slink Hourglass and Original and Maitreya Lara (worn). As you can see it has a reverse cut out cleavage and a front split and has a metal embellishment that drops down both the front and back of the dress. The metal texture can be changed by colour hud. There’s a great choice of colours so you can mix and match this with any number of looks, styles and colours.
