Ticket to Ride

My friend Tracy has a range of phrases that she uses quite often. They’ve almost become synonymous with her. One of them is ‘Hey! Don’t judge me!’ To be honest, she usually uses that when she’s done or said something she knows damn well is judgeworthy but that’s beside the point.  I’d like to think I never judge people on a single aspect of their personality but I do, and, I expect others to judge me too. I had put together an outfit yesterday to take a blog photo for later in the week (not this one). I loved the look but it was quite a way from my usual look and I found myself explaining that to a friend before I tp’d him to my sim that I didn’t normally dress this way. Why? Well I was making a judgement about myself and about how I would be perceived in that outfit.

We judge people all day every day, in both lives. How they look, how they speak, how they behave. It leads us to make decisions about whether and how much we want to interact with them.

About the Stuff:

I certainly wouldn’t have needed to worry about judgement if I had been wearing this outfit that I had photographed a day or so before! There is quite definitely an air of spring in the items being released by stores across SL. The Annex have released this is gorgeous lil romper at Tres Chic in a range of Spring/Summery textures. It comes in fits for Maitreya Lara (worn) , Belleza Freya, Isis and Venus and Slink Hourglass and Original and in 5 different floral textures.
