Bloom Where we are Planted

I promise I really didn’t plan on having my butt on display two days running but it seems by butt cheeks operate on the same system as London Buses! You don’t see one for ages then 2 of them come along at the same time!!

It’s the start of the easter holidays and Spring is most definitely in the air in both worlds. My Second Life schedule is already pretty packed with things to do from blogging to dj’g to decorating more of my new house but my RL plans are still fairly fluid. Today is going to be a lazy day I’m sure but hopefully the weather will hold for a couple of trips out and about in real life over the weekend.

The items in my feature image today are all from the Bloom event which opens tomorrow and I talk more about them below but I thought it was a good time to remind everyone that there is a Springtime photo contest going on with the Blogger & Vlogger Network at the moment with a chance to win a L$5000 gift card for Apple Fall. The contest is in conjunction with my sim TaKe Heart and there are rez rights with the group to share your Spring goodies! About the Stuff:

You are about to be tickled pink with daffodils and pansies at the best Spring event in Second Life. Opening tomorrow is Bloom by Prism Events, the team behind Tannenbaum and Salem events, and having spent some time there this morning, I can assure you, it’s wonderful.

Today I am featuring a couple of decor designers and a couple of fashion designers. My dress is a new release from Dead Dollz which comes in two versions – windswept/lifted (worn) and a…well…not windswept/lifted. There are 6 fine polka dot textures, black, white and a range of pastels and it comes in a Maitreya Fit only.  The shoes are from Essenz and have a cute heel that can be changed from gold or silver and the main body of the shoe is available in 12 colours and fits for Maitreya, Belleza and Slink.

I had lots of fun playing with the gacha items from Fancy Decor. These beautiful decorative eggs are a work of art and love from creator Jake Vordun. They come in a range of beautifully rich and decadent colours and the RARE item is sublimely exquisite. Of course, Ariskea never fails when it comes to blooms so I’m pretty sure it would have been impossible for them to not be in the Bloom event and they also have a stunning collection released for the event. I simply adore the pinks and oranges of these Peonies!
