Warm Up – Cool Down

I’ve had a week off work and been super busy planning ahead. I’m a total planner and yes, a little bit of a control freak when it comes to planning my time and making arrangements. I’ve taken lots of photos and planned out several blog posts to get ahead of myself because I know how busy the next couple of weeks is going to be. Even though I am a planner, and like to stick to a plan, I can be easily distracted. I’m enjoying decorating my new house but can get distracted by my new neighbours. That said, I’m loving living in a community rather than on a platform above my own homestead sim.

The other things that I am enjoying the distraction of Discord. If you haven’t used Discord yet it’s a bit like a mix of social media, chat rooms and skype. Mainly used by gamers in the past it’s starting to take on life for many Second Life communities.  We opened a Discord server for the Blogger and Vlogger network and I’m enjoying the interaction with a group of very like minded people available to me ‘offline’ from SL.  If you’re a blogger and haven’t joined Blogger & Vlogger Network yet, you’re still very welcome to join us on Discord to share information about opportunities, talk about our events, ask questions or share your posts and vlogs.

About the Stuff:

Fancy Decor has had several great releases this month and this was the one that got the ball rolling  at FaMESHed at the start of the month. The classic bench comes in 3 colours and has 9 single sit animations and one couple animation. There’s also some classic art piecings and etchings which work perfectly in my new house and I can now honestly use the line ‘come and see my etchings’ will be something to scrub off the bucket list!

I’m showing the back view of one of two new hair releases from Exile at Collabor88. Green Light is the shorter of the two styles, just below shoulder length with a hint of windswept on the front view as it sits to one side.  Exile has a brand new mainstore, logo and new huds. I’ve been using Exile hair for years and a new hud system from them is always a cause for excitement. The new huds take up a lot less space than previously and are simple and easy to use with the same great range of colour packs and choices you get from Exile.

The outfit is from United Colors and comes in three parts – the body, panties and stockings and fits for Belleza Freya and Isis, Slink Original and Hourglass and Maitreya Lara (worn). Colour wise you have a choice of 16 which range from bright and vibrant to soft pastels and, of course, everyone’s favourite – black!
