My rl and sl have collided of late in such a way that a peak of activity in both worlds have combusted at the same time. I’m always pretty busy but this last week I would guess I’ve been the busiest I’ve been for a couple of years. The difference between now and a couple of years ago though is how balanced that is. Yes, I’m busier but, oh boy, am I so much happier with it.
I’ve laughed this week like I haven’t laughed in months…real tears laughing…literally doubled up laughing. It’s so healthy and is bringing so much balance to the workload. Every now and again, you sometimes meet someone that brings that out in you. Someone you feel instantly comfortable with, that you can talk to about anything and everything…even politics and religion…and just enjoy the conversation. I’ve made that friend in the last couple of weeks. He’s super good at telling me how much he appreciates my friendship and I’m not so good at telling him but I have to admit he’s very quickly become a very special part of my SL and he’s made every day a lot more fun since I’ve met him.
