It’s been almost a week since I have blogged but it doesn’t feel like that at all. The weeks just fly by but then they have been packed with good things. As well as working on our sim there’s been lots of activity on Blogger & Vlogger Network with lots of new members joining us from the Second Life Blogger Support group. SLBS was a huge help to me when I first started blogging and I’m as sad as everyone else to see it go. I completely understand Katya’s reasons why it’s time for her to do it and I’m delighted that she’s going to be helping in an advisory capacity on BVN.
I also had a new profile photo done this week by the amazingly talented Kiana Jarman and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for that. In addition to that I had a photo shoot for The Clique event which is coming to you in March from Fresh Events – the creators of Thereafter.
And, of course, the big work news of the week – the opening of FaMESHed. Last month was not easy for any of us that work for FaMESHed. The hardest part wasn’t the criticism it was the pure venom, spite and out of all perspective rage of people that didn’t like the layout. When someone is suggesting that someone should die because they find a layout of an event challenging and not to their liking then that person really needs to step away from a computer (I’d like to say it was just one – but sadly it wasn’t). Elvi, the owner of the event, has worked incredibly hard along with Apple Fall to create a brand new building, look and layout and it’s amazing. I made a video of the event just as it opened which you can see here:
Now people are complaining that it’s too easy to shop and costing them too much money!!!
Anyways, it’s been a busy week and I am looking forward to the weekend and some quality time with Zedekiah and our cats (yes, you read that right – CATS!)
