Do you ever have one of those days when you wake up and just for a split second you feel total happiness and joy to be alive before remembering something bad, stressful and worrisome. You literally feel your heart sink as your brain begs to feel that first millisecond again…that split second that you feel good.
A friend of mine used to be heavily into Feng Shui, and whilst I’m not a believer that where I stick my pot plants is going to make a huge difference to my mood based on the rules of Feng Shui, I do believe that the bedroom is one of the most important rooms in the house, in terms of how rested and relaxed you are. It’s hard to relax and decompress in a room that you feel cluttered and stressed in. In real life my room is airy and light with my favourite colour palette.
This is the kind of bedroom I want to wake up to when the weight of the world suddenly crushes me after that first millisecond of bliss.
