You might notice something a wee bit different about Kess today…aside from the blondness. I’ve switched, temporarily, to the Catwa head Lona. I like when blogging challenges me. I’ve talked last month about how I had been challenging myself with more decor posts and with different colours in my fashion posts. Well, I’m currently blogging for the Skin Fair by Pale Girl Productions and my challenge to myself was to blog some of the Catwa exclusive releases. Now, admittedly I’ve gone for a nice, easy, popular one in the first place which is the new release from Belleza…Fearne.
You can see a photo of the range of tones below. These are unedited raw shots of the tones available. Click on it once for a larger view and again for an even larger.
Now this got the mix about right for me as I find the Catwa heads a little too young looking for my tastes, but, Belleza skins have always had an elegance and beauty about them that is timeless. I am happy with the look but thought I’d go doubly wild and switch to blond for this shot too especially as I loved this blue pinstripe version of this shirt dress from Blueberry. Oh, and while on the subject of dresses can I get a ‘hell yeah’ for stores that build panties into ultra short skirts and dresses like this. Blueberry always does this, as does Cynful but there are some stores that do amazing dresses that are just unwearable unless you alpha your snatch or wear a panties layer, which doesn’t always work with the style of dress if it has a low back or a side split etc.
I also pushed my comfort zone with taking a darker photo than normal. Finding the balance between showing the item and taking a photo that has some artistic quality to it is challenging and thats another area that I’m pushing myself in.
Anyways, it’s Mother’s Day here in the UK, so Happy Mums Day to all the mothers reading this and I hope you have a fab Sunday!
