Thank mercy it’s Friday! It’s been a long week but now it’s the weekend. I had a few days a couple of weeks ago where I stopped wearing my Fitbit and really noticed a huge difference in how much walking I was doing or was willing to do without wearing it. It’s now back on, every day…well work days anyways as that is when I do the most walking and exercise. I really need to find a way to be a more active over the weekends.
In other news, my baby girl (she’s 23) moves out into her own home today that her and boyfriend are buying. I’m really proud of her. It’s really not easy for kids today to get a foot on the property ladder but both of my daughters are well on their way to owning their own homes. The last few years have been those of growth for my daughter. Ever since her diagnosis three years ago with Crohn’s Disease and her subsequent bowel surgery, I’ve seen her mature and flourish as a beautiful young woman. When she was first ill she lent on me, she needed her mum and I did what mums everywhere do…I was there. As she learned to live with her illness she gradually took on more responsibility for herself. Long story short it culminates today in her picking up the keys to her first home and flying the nest. I have mixed feelings but overall I’m so very proud of who she has become.
Anyways on to the details. I just adore Hunter the creator behind the brand Stealthic, and full disclosure here, I am the blogger manager for his brand and more importantly I consider him a trusted friend. His latest curly hair style is out now at Kustom 9 and he really has outdone himself again. The swept over style is just amazing and I know he worked super hard on it too.
I’m wearing a new mainstore release from Dead Dollz which is a collaboration with Astralia. I think collaborations are a great way for stores to do mainstore releases and share from the joint marketing (I mean basically that’s what events are just on a bigger scale). The Astralia items aren’t featured but the outfit is a three piece bra, hoodie and pants set with options to change colours on the piping, inner hoodie, waistband etc so you can mix n match items. It’s made for Maitreya body and is a really comfortable but cute looking outfit.
