Breathe Easy

Good morning! Can you believe it’s Thursday already? Love, love, love the short week! Then, it’s one more week at work and then another public holiday and a week off work for meeee!

Maybe I will keep up this scene to relax in and recharge while I’m off! The core of the scene comes from moss&mink at FaMESHed X and it gave me the perfect canvas to show off new releases from both Ariskea and Dahlia at The Epiphany.

As I’ve mentioned a few times over the last few weeks the girls from Dirty Pretty sims worked on the Copper River sim for the Flourish and Salon 52 events and I learned a lot from how they use items in their landscapes by modding them. I will always point out in the credits if I am modding an item but it really can give an item a second lease of life. The example from this scene are the floating flowers in the hot tub. In reality those flowers are in a stone bowl, but all one mesh. However, I was able to make the bowl transparent to give the impression of just the flowers floating in the bath, instead of the bowl. It’s such an important part of the scene, in my opinion, that I was glad I was able to find a moddable product to use in that way.
