One of the guest creators at the birthday round of Uber is Paragon Dance Animations, who I have featured on the blog before. The owner of Paragon had told me that I would love these dances and he wasn’t wrong. He knows I love Latin dances in Second Life. Paragon is a guest of United Colors this round so, of course, I am wearing their release. Full credits at the bottom of the post.
Paragon goes a step further than many other mocap dance animators using ‘celebrity’ dancers to produce high-quality bento animations that are detailed right down to the fingertips.
These dances are created from real-life dancer Charlene Rose. You may know of her from her appearances on So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent. Charlene is a well-known and respected presence in the Latin dance scene. She maintains a hectic schedule as a freelance performer, teacher and choreographer. Some of Charlene’s accomplishments are as follows:

– 5x World Salsa Champion
– Golden Salsa Award for “Best Female Salsa Dancer”
– Semi-finalist on “So You Think You Can Dance” and NBC “America’s Got Talent”
