Fall Cherubs

Good morning the first part of this month has completely run away from me. I was away for a few days at my Grandmother’s funeral and because I was never really caught up from my vacation I’m still a little ‘all over the place’. 

I have so much going on right now, exciting news stuffs! None of which I can tell you about but watch this space. 

In real life I reconnected with a cousin that I was very close to when we were kids. She is two years younger than me and we were both always getting into trouble but I was was older and always got the blame.  I found out that her ability to play ‘innocent’ hasn’t changed. My cousin was staying at the same hotel as me and the night before the funeral, after dinner, we stayed in the bar for a couple of drinks…then a couple more drinks…then a nightcap…then a second nightcap. Eventually we headed off to bed and met up again in the morning for breakfast. While we were eating her Mum called her and I heard this half of a conversation: 

Cousin: Yeah, it was good…..hmmm not too bad….I think it was about 11.30pm when we finally went to bed…yeah, in the bar…yeah probably a few too many…..oh my god Mum Karen has not changed a bit…she’s still a bad influence on me.

I sat there and thought, wow…35 years later and I am still getting the blame! Though, to be fair…I am a bad influence.
