Catching the Breeze

Good morning. It’s a big day today as I have an interview at my rl job for a two-step promotion. I actually showed this job role to a colleague for her to go for and she read the job description and said: “this isn’t for me…but damn this job description could be written for you!” I took some convincing. I didn’t and don’t feel I’m ready for this big a step but I went for it and was offered an interview. So, we shall see.

In SL I’ve had a few very exciting opportunities come my way too, as I alluded to yesterday. I still can’t confirm any of them as I need to make some changes to my workload to accommodate them but I am super excited to tell you all about them soon.

The confidence of others in us, in our abilities, has been paramount in my recent decisions. I am blessed with an incredibly supportive partner who is happy for me and builds me up. We’ve talked through the opportunities and his belief in me and my ability to manage my time and workload, as well as to be bloody good at it has given me so much confidence in myself…and in us.
