The Blower’s Daughter

“Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can’t go back
And moods that take me and erase me
And I’m painted black
Well, you have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It’s time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We’ve still got time
Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice
  You’ve made it now”
Falling Slowly – Glen Hansard, Markéta Irglová

I came across this beautiful song a few weeks ago. I’m pretty sure I’d heard it before, maybe in a film or TV programme as something was familiar about it. I find it a bit of an earworm and often find myself humming along to the chorus while I’m at work or doing housework at home. Songs are important to me and this one has quite a few meanings…even reading the lyrics again this morning I found something else in them that connects with me.

Yesterday I blogged a hair from Tableau Vivant from their gacha at Epiphany, The gacha name is the Creepy Family and I’m wearing the Eerie Daughter hairstyle today. I saw this hair on Sady the other day when we did our collaboration and loved it. My outfit is the newest release from Blueberry and can I just say that I love that we are getting into sweater and cardy weather now too!

The pose is part of a gorgeous bento set of poses from Wetcat that are now available at The Season’s Story. I had a similar pose set years ago, before bento and before mesh avies so I for one am liking see updated versions of these cute props and poses.
