Good morning and Happy Friday! I hope all my American friends had a wonderful thanksgiving and aren’t suffering too much today from the effects of over-eating!

The countdown to Christmas starts in earnest now that we’re hurtling towards December and I plan on scouring the Black Friday sales online today to grab some Christmas presents in real life.

In Second Life I’m hoping for a chill weekend and spending some time with Mr M after his busy thanksgiving in rl.

What I am blogging today:

The Arcade opens on the 1st December and as it’s the month of the holidays there is a lot of Christmas themed items. An 8f8 release is always a special treat but an 8f8 release at Arcade at CHRISTMAS is even more special. I’m going to be showing the rare and some close up photos of these baubles on another post but I wanted to give you some more info on these incredibly detailed baubles.

There is a story behind each of these incredibly textured globes. iBi, the creator behind the 8f8 brand has a story to tell, of the history of his brand. Touch the baubles and select from the drop down to reveal recognisable scenes and objects from previous creations. I found myself gasping “omgosh I remember this’ etc when I was looking at these more closely. It was a perfect, seasonal trip down memory lane.

It also gave me the opportunity to share with you the new release from Vespertine at Belle Event. The benches come in a clean version and snow versions and in a range of colours. As do the lights which come in wall mounted and standing versions. Beautifully done by Vespertine, as always.

I couldn’t resist adding these super cute snow bunnies from Rezz Room into the mix. They are also available at The Arcade from 1st December.
