The kitchen is starting to become the hub of the energy in my house with foods that can be prepared in advance of the big day. My eldest daughter has become a Pescatarian in the last year and this is the first Christmas I’m catering for her. I found an amazing recipe by Mary Berry for a Nut Roast that should see her through Christmas and Boxing Day. In truth, I will prefer to have some of that rather than stuffing on Christmas Day too.

I’m excited for Christmas this year and more than that I am excited for the year ahead.
