Coffee To Go

I alluded to some good news about my daughter a few days ago and I can talk about it now! 

Yesterday we went out as a family for afternoon tea at a beautiful hotel on the outskirts of the town we live in. My eldest daughter thought it was a belated birthday celebration for me…but it wasn’t. 

Soon after we were settled her boyfriend dropped to one knee and proposed to her…she cried, I cried, her sister cried…hell, even her ever stoic father had a tear in his eyes. It was beautiful and I had absolutely no doubt at all it was going to be a resounding YESSSSSS! Everyone clapped and cheered in the restaurant and my daughter now has a gorgeous platinum and diamond solitaire on her finger that she’s flashing around at every opportunity. I’ve never seen her so happy! Happy kid, happy mother!
