I heard yesterday that I may have to self-isolate. I’m sure a lot of people will have to but the advice of the British government is that anyone with a new cough or fever should self-isolate for 7 days. I’ve had a cough for a while since my bout of laryngitis a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been super run down with all the goings-on with my tooth (now resolved) but since then I have developed a new hacking, dry, tickly cough that will not budge. To my knowledge, I have not been in contact with anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19, and I haven’t travelled since mid-January. I am fairly confident that it’s just the common cold. I have no underlying health issues. Now my Britishness is kicking in because part of me reads the advice and thinks it applies to me and part of me is like ‘don’t be silly it’s just a cold, don’t make a fuss’. Here’s the thing though…I work in a hospital. If I do have Coronavirus that’s the last place I should be. I am on annual leave today and not due back to work until Monday. I guess I will wait to see how I am on Sunday before making a decision.
What I am blogging today:
Being off work has given me chance to play with the latest release from Lelutka and a face for it that is coming from Glam Affair later today! Lake is part of the new Lelutka Evolutions range of heads and any of the skins that you have purchased for Nova or Erin will work flawlessly with Lake, but, of course, at Glam Affair we had to make a couple of new skins to complement the new launch from Lelutka.
Iris comes in all 12 of the Glam Affair tones and with the shape included as well as a range of BOM system layers for the skin and the enhancements and cosmetics. I am wearing all three freckles layers and both moles layers to build up the freckled, sun-kissed look.
I’m wearing a gorgeous dress from Baiastice. Now I have to admit it’s been a while since I’ve worn Baiastice and back in the day, I had soooooooo much from the store. In fact, one of my favourite dresses EVER in SL was called Tori and was from Baiastice. Love that Baiastice is rigging for so many bodies and the colour and pattern options are gorgeous. I’m for sure going to be giving more items a try.
I adore this jewellery set from LaGyo which is also available at Collabor88 it’s so pretty and has lots of options – a necklace and choker, two different earrings, a nose clasp (not worn) and of course this pretty flower crown.
Last, but not least, is the beautiful, messy side plait hair from tram. Really love this casual, boho-chic look. I’m set for the day with my new look. I believe Skin Fair opens at noon slt today but if you are a Lelutka VIP you can get in early and try out Lake!
