Many years ago, when display names were first a thing, my display name was Saucy. I love it as a word, it’s super cheeky and well…saucy! So when I saw that this top from Vinyl, available now at Kustom9, was called Saucy, I had to have it.
I was telling my sis, Sady, who is the brand manager for Vinyl this same thing last night. We were having an inventory cleaning and tidying session on discord and I think we went off on a tangent when I found and old cork board of photos from my club !Exodus! with some VERY dated, pre mesh photos of friends from years past. I’m happy to say that some of these people are still in my life. There was a 2010 photo of Jamie and some circa 2012 of Dusty, Jasmine, Nikole…other friends who have left SL, Llew for e.g. It was such a trip down memory lane!
My oldest friend in SL is from 2006 on my original avie…I’m not going to say how we met, or where…we all have pasts. She’s a successful fashion creator now and every now and again we’ll bump into each or drop into IMs to catch up. Second Life really has become a place of true, real life friendships for me. I’m blessed for all the people that have come, and gone.
