Good morning
I had just been getting used to my old routine, being back at work. I had intended to work from home 2 days a week still but I found I enjoyed being in the office much more than being home alone during the day so for the last couple of work weeks I had gone into the office every day. I had posted on FB last week that I had noticed that the covid testing station outside the hospital I work in has been a lot busier every day last week and it turns out that we have a large number of staff members testing positive for Covid. I guess I knew more stringent rules would be coming our way soon. I honestly didn’t think it would be so quick. Yesterday we had the announcement that if we can work from home, we should. I’m working from home today but I’m hoping I can work in the office at least 3 days a week still. I’ve stuck rigidly to every rule and all the guidance but mentally I am really struggling with the idea of being isolated at home, working, for another few months.
Blogging, or at least creating scenes, will hopefully help to keep me sane and today I am featuring several items from the current round of The Arcade. I created this scene in the back garden of my house and think I’ll keep it. I definitely need a creative retreat!
